  大学のとき、ゼミで化粧について研究してる子がいた。
  完全すっぴん、ファンデだけ、眉と唇だけ、チークだけ、みたいな感じで
  すっぴんからばっちりフルメイクまでのいろんなタイプの化粧を写真にし、
  それを被験者に見せて「もっとも好感がもてる顔は？」「一番化粧が濃いと
  感じる顔は？」みたいなアンケートをとっていくという手法で、性別や年代に
  よってどういうふうに化粧のとらえかたが違うか、みたいなことをやっていた。
  その結果、男性は「すっぴんで眉と唇だけに濃い色をのせた」メイクを
  「一番化粧が濃い」と感じることがわかった。ファンデ２色使いしてアイシャドウ
  ３色グラデーションかけてリップペンシルで唇の輪郭しっかりとってても
  使ってる色が淡ければ「薄い」もしくは「素顔？」と感じるらしい。
  けっこう化粧に凝るタイプだったその子は「うわぁ男って全然化粧気づいてねえ！orz」と
  落ち込んでいた。"
